Evertz and CentralParQSoftware Announce New Partnership

Las Vegas, Nevada– April 15th, 2012 - Evertz is proud to announce that ParkPost has purchased the Evertz SuperNASTM system for CentralParQSoftware. CentralParQSoftware (www. CentralParQSoftware.com) has developed software that makes digital video production faster, easier and more secure. They will use Evertz SuperNASTM as the storage under the CentralParQ platform.

As existing customers of Mediator (Evertz Content Management system) it was a very easy decision for CentralParQSoftware to add Evertz SuperNASTM to their system. With the seamless integration of Mediator and the scalability of the SuperNASTM, CentralParQSoftware has integrated the SuperNASTM as the storage system for their product, giving them the ability to scale from its current size up to 4 PetaBytes.

Evertz turned out to be the best fit for the needs of CentralParQ as it can scale massively, deliver a huge bandwidth capacity from the start, offer bandwidth Quality of Service and it fit the budget.”

CentralParQSoftware with the SuperNASTM system provides 400TB of RAID6 storage to be used as high-performance Tier 1 central storage for post-production applications. Third-party client applications access the SuperNASTM using NFS or CIFS protocols for high-performance file read/write over a multi-port 10Gbps IP backbone or FTP for less time-critical, general purpose file transfers.

Evertz’ SuperNASTM system provides no single point of Failure fault-resiliency at the network, file server and storage layers. Furthermore, Evertz’ SuperNASTM provides easy scalability both in bandwidth and storage capacity so that the system can be expanded as additional third-party application clients are added. The system can also support traditional video server applications with the future addition of Evertz’ Media Clients to provide real-time HD record and playback.
