Announced on show floor at IBC2009 - French Systems Integrator Preview selects Harris to Equip Four HD OB vans.
Harris Broadcast Communications has just announced the sale of an end-to-end HD infrastructure solution to French SI Preview for four new HD OB vans to be used at the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola in January. The Harris installations include routers, audio and video processors, multiviewers, test and measurement tools and graphics systems. Each of the four vans handles the input of 16 cameras and will be equipped with a 15RU 128x160 HD Platinum™ router with 64x64 AES audio and redundant cross-points. Each truck will also contain 28 QVM6800+ Quad multiviewers, Videotek® VTM Series™ multiformat on-screen monitors, two X85™ multiple application video/audio processors, Inscriber® TitleOne™ broadcast and production graphics systems, glue equipment for up-/down-/cross-conversion and CCS Navigator™ software for control and monitoring of the entire Harris infrastructure solution.Participants catalogue (NATEXPO 2009)
