Harris Corporation Appoints Regional Sales Manager for Harris Broadcast Communications Business in the Russian Federation

WINNERSH, England, March 30, 2009 — Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, announced that Ekaterina Petoukhova has joined its expanding Nordic and Central European team as regional sales manager for the Harris Broadcast Communications business in the Russian Federation.  Petoukhova will be responsible for building customer relationships and driving growth of the Harris Broadcast business throughout the region.

“Ekaterina’s broad knowledge of the broadcast industry will be crucial to supporting business development and sales growth for Harris Broadcast Communications in the Russian Federation,” said Mathias Eckert, regional director for Nordic and Central Europe, Harris Broadcast Communications.  “She will be responsible for managing and growing our Russian business, establishing long-term relationships with our key customers and resellers and introducing the latest Harris products and workflow solutions to the Russian market.  Petoukhova also will be central to setting up the new Moscow subsidiary over the coming months.”

Petoukhova has extensive experience in business expansion in the broadcast industry, with many years of driving regional business development in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Baltic Region, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.  She joins Harris from Tandberg Television, which is part of the Ericsson Group, and previously worked for Snell & Wilcox.
